Grounds for Optimism has been broken down into 3 levels of award. All schools are invited to enter their initial designs using the award competition website and will gain a Bronze Award. 10 schools in each region will then move forward to Silver Awards and the opportunity to work with a professional landscape architect to develop their ideas further. One school in each region will achieve the title of Gold Award in the first year.
