- only one design entry per school is permitted
- entries are only permitted from secondary schools and middle schools and are not allowed from teams made up predominantly of Sixth Form students
- all designs will judged against the same criteria with no allowance for age
- all entrants must have completed all sections of the competition (as laid out in the micro-site checklist) to be eligible
- judges decisions are final and the competition organisers are not obliged to enter into correspondence regarding those decisions
- submitted entries will not be returned and the organisers may use them for publicity and dissemination purposes - if any images are submitted with recognisable student faces then the organisers will assume that the schools hold the necessary parental permissions to allow their reproduction
- although every effort will be made to ensure a landscape architect/practice will be available to work with the short-listed schools, we cannot guarantee this will be possible in every case
